The Calamp devices can store a limited number of geographical data points in its internal memory. If the device loses service, it will store the data until it regains a network connectivity, at which point, it will automatically send all that stored data back to MiFleet. The points include timestamps, so it can be logged and recorded later. The LMU3030 and 2620 can store up to 20,000 messages (at 1 minute intervals, this is about 13 days’ worth of messages.)
